Tactical technical buyer

Asperitas is looking for a talented tactical technical buyer responsible for purchasing products, materials, services and manage outsourced activities together with taking the lead in identifying and implementing improved procurement tools and processes to support the scale up of the business.

The objective of the role is…

The ideal candidate is a driven thought leader with proven negotiation experience, analytical thinking, and contract management skills and is able to execute these skills on both a tactical and operational level. Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and organizational skills are a must.

Your responsibilities are...

• Purchasing goods and services at optimal conditions in terms of price, quality and delivery terms while managing delivery reliability.
• Negotiating and contracting with suppliers to obtain the best possible terms and conditions.
• Establishing the appropriate Service Level Agreements, and the key performance indicators to assure that the needs of the business are met.
• Taking the lead in identifying and implementing improved procurement tools, processes and systems making procurement at Asperitas efficient and effective.
• Implementation of supplier relationship management, conducting regular supplier assessments and managing complaint handling / claims to ensure success of all Partnerships established.
• Leading the contract manufacturer / system integrator selection, contracting and contract management.
• Management of all contract costs to keep within set budgets and seek ways to further improve the cost performance.

Your key skills are...

• MBO + or HBO work and think level.
• Having completed a certification in Procurement like NEVI is considered a plus.
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in Procurement and / or Supply Chain, preferably technical.
• Experience in setting budgets and cost management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
• Proven negotiation and analytical skills.
• Knowledge about high technology product manufacturing.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing procurement tools, systems and process improvements including but not limited to requisition to pay, supplier management, contract management and contracting.
• A willingness to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Hands-on, commercial mindset, team player, result driven, structured, committed and agile.
